Come out on Saturday May 24th and run a 7K race to the summit and back of scenic Black Mountain. Don't forget to check out amazing views of all of San Diego county when you get to the top!
The race starts promptly at 8:00AM and day of registration and check in will be open at 7:00AM!
For runners already registered you can pick up your race packets at the San Diego Running Institute
during normal store hours between May 17th and May 23rd.

This trail run is very difficult to run due to the steep summit climb. Only experts can expect to run the entire distance. Most runners will have to jog or walk though passes. Although the course is difficult the views from the top are well worth it!

The start of this race is just past Mt Carmel High School at the end of Sundevil Way
From I-5:
Exit onto 56 East
Take Exit 8/Rancho Penasquitos Blvd
Turn Left onto Rancho Penasquitos Blvd
Continue onto Carmel Mountain Road
After 1/2 mile turn right onto Sundevil Way and continue to the end of the road
Medals will be awarded to the top 3 male and female finishers in each age category listed below. Points will also be awarded to the top 15 male and female finishers of each race in the San Diego Trail Run Series and count towards the finals on Memorial Day weekend at the Black Mountain Summit Run.
